Welcome to NAWIC Guam 2018 Leadership Conference

Hafa Adai!  Welcome to the 2018 NAWIC Guam Leadership Conference website.  I am excited to share with you the culmination of the NAWIC conference team’s hard work and dedication to bringing our members quality training with access to helpful resources in one place.

This year’s Conference theme is Refresh/Renew/Refocus.  Our speakers this year are focusing on matters that affect our island businesses.  We must refresh our arsenal of information in an effort to ensure compliance at all levels within our organizations. We must reassess our positions and actions and renew our focus on best practices. And we must refocus the direction of our staff to refine their skills to become superior employees.  These are the educational tracks being offered this year.

Our presenters are experts in their fields, and this year we’re including a number of panel discussions which will provide an opportunity to ask questions on topics that impact your company.  We are excited to have the new NAVFAC Marianas Commanding Officer Captain Turner join us and address the military’s commitment to Guam.  Equally, we are pleased to have Congresswoman Bordallo visit us and provide an update on the status of her efforts in Congress on the H2B visa program.  But beyond our guest speakers, we have an impressive cadre of professionals to provide you with in-depth training on topics that can have a significant impact on your business.

I encourage you to look through our site and identify areas of interest that would be of benefit to both the management and staff of your company or organization. I also invite you to check out the sponsors of our conference and consider the networking opportunities that you may be able to take advantage of as a registered participant in the conference.  I hope the conference topics pique your interest, and I look forward to seeing you at our 2nd Annual NAWIC Leadership Conference!

Hope to see you there!
